You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.The Platforms Infrastructure Engineering Project Management Office (PMO) is a part of Technical Infrastructure under MSCA programs organization and partners with Google Compute Engine (GCE)/Technical Infrastructure (TI) Engineering and Operations teams to deliver a broad product roadmap of systems, hardware and software critical to enabling Cloud and Google services. Our organization provides technical program management, focusing on increasing velocity, quality, predictability, and coordination across teams.As a Technical Program Manager, you will lead the programs from concept to production where we design, build and deliver industry-leading ML Systems for internal (PAs) and Cloud customers.The ML, Systems, & Cloud AI (MSCA) organization at Google designs, implements, and manages the hardware, software, machine learning, and systems infrastructure for all Google services (Search, YouTube, etc.) and Google Cloud. Our end users are Googlers, Cloud customers and the billions of people who use Google services around the world.We prioritize security, efficiency, and reliability across everything we do - from developing our latest TPUs to running a global network, while driving towards shaping the future of hyperscale computing. Our global impact spans software and hardware, including Google Cloud’s Vertex AI, the leading AI platform for bringing Gemini models to enterprise customers.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Partner with key engineering leads/stakeholders, contribute to ML System Roadmap by program managing projects, organizing cross-project work within the program, and defining program controls/governance/standards.
  • Lead development and landing of next-gen ML Systems through New Product Introduction (NPI) Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) process from Concept to Production and Sustaining.
  • Drive a portfolio of tracks to make direct and measurable impact on customer adoption.
  • Partner with engineering leads and cross-functional teams to ensure that organization-wide Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) are set and reflect top-level strategy as well as ensure projects are effectively prioritized, resourced, and managed.
  • Engage with senior executives and cross-functional leaders to strategize and drive ML Hardware (HW)/System roadmap.
