Leidos is seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead and drive the planning, execution, and oversight of complex technical initiatives across multiple service teams. This role is critical to ensuring alignment between program objectives, technical solutions, and stakeholder expectations within a mission-driven environment. The selected candidate will serve as a Senior TPM within the IPT structure, managing cross-functional priorities, mentoring junior staff, and engaging directly with program leadership and external customers.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of cross-cutting initiatives across engineering, architecture, and delivery teams
  • Manage project schedules, milestones, risks, and dependencies, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for initiative-level planning, reporting, and customer communication
  • Provide strategic guidance to multiple junior project managers, enabling team growth and continuity
  • Represent IPT in executive forums, including program management reviews (PMRs), requirements reviews, and customer briefings
  • Develop and maintain integrated roadmaps, tracking critical milestones and ensuring delivery across service areas
  • Own the requirements lifecycle from intake to decomposition, validation, and traceability using systems engineering best practices
  • Oversee the maintenance of project documentation, metrics, and risk registers using tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Proactively identify, escalate, and mitigate project-level risks and blockers affecting mission delivery
  • Drive agile delivery practices across service teams, ensuring visibility, transparency, and velocity
  • Facilitate collaboration across technical leads, security, compliance, and enterprise architecture stakeholders
  • Champion continuous improvement, driving process enhancements and delivery quality across the IPT
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field and 15+ years of experience.
  • Experience in technical program or project management roles, including experience managing large, multi-disciplinary teams in mission-critical environments
  • Demonstrated expertise with Agile methodologies, and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Hands-on experience using Jira and Confluence to manage cross-team initiatives and maintain delivery transparency
  • Proven ability to lead project execution across diverse technical and functional areas
  • Experience with requirements engineering, risk management, milestone tracking, and executive-level reporting
  • Strong leadership presence with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Must hold an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), or other advanced PM certifications
  • Background in Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) or entitlements programs
  • Experience working on modernization efforts, enterprise transformation, or large-scale system integrations
