- EHS Coordinator will provide expert knowledge and skills in order to generate and promote a positive Environment, Health & Safety culture across the organization.
- Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of systems to ensure compliance with all existing environment, health & safety initiatives and local legislation.
- Provides timely reporting to management on any safety accident, incidents, near misses and environmental status in line with PSC KPIs.
- Act as the Functional Safety Lead across the Value Streams in alignment with the Value Stream Manager and safety representatives including 6S.
- Be the lead site representative in all communication and coordination with the local health and safety authorities (local/governmental regulator body).
- Development, implementation and maintenance of a system for hazard identification and risk assessment on existing and new processes and equipment
- Coordinate and support the closure of health and safety root causes and risk assessments in alignment with value stream safety representative(s)
- Develop, implement and maintain a system for accident/safety incident investigation which would include detailed reporting and corrective action
- Develop, implement and maintain a system to ensure all statutory inspections and audits are carried out and records are maintained by relevant personnel
- Develop, implement and maintain a system whereby monthly KPI statistics are complete and communicated in a timely manner
- Case management of all incidents and accidents, liaising closely with the appropriate legal and insurance bodies and keeping senior management updated in a timely manner
- Lead on-site EH&S improvement, awareness and engagement programmes
- Coordinate all benchmark submissions and closures
- Responsible for the effective development, implementation and maintenance of the Company's EH&S policies, strategies & goals in compliance with legislative and company requirements, including ISO 14001 and OHSAS 45001
- Facilitate and lead technical improvements in conjunction with project, maintenance and engineering departments
- Spread the safety-productivity awareness to the organization, The safer the working environment is the more productive it is
- Promote a culture of safety awareness in a collaborative way; bring to life each day our HIAB values and demonstrate these behaviors in his/her leadership style
- Identify and ensure delivery of the H&S training programme across the site, ensuring statutory requirements are adhered to, taking into account best practice and site safety culture development
- High School diploma/equivalent required
- Relevant degree in HSE preferred
- Country specific certifications
- 3-5 years of experience from technology industry's safety and it's development
- Strong understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO14001 requirements
