If you are ready to join an international company with talent around the world, and want to make a real impact, we want you on our team.What You'll Do:In this role, you will work closely with our Sr. Vice President for High Growth Regions and Chief Procurement Officer to drive Lubrizol’s share gain strategies and cost optimization.This role is based in Wickliffe, OH and is eligible for a hybrid working model.What We're Looking For:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with Procurement and High Growth Regions’ goals and objectives
- Collaborate cross functionally to analyze costs and quickly drive targeted continuous improvement initiatives
- Efficiently leverage shared services and technology to execute monthly closing routines and drive world class financial reporting
- Conduct financial deep dives of supplier contracts and negotiations to ensure cost competitiveness, compliance with financial regulations, and adherence to company policies
- Lead both STRAP and AOP cycles for Procurement and High Growth Regions focused on year over year share gains and cost competitiveness
- Partner with the procurement team to review Procurement Savings Projects and ensure alignment with the Procurement policies and proper delivery of savings to the Lubrizol bottom line
- Identify opportunities to actively bring more spend under control of the Global Procurement Team to support best-in-class spend management
- Partner with Procurement team to driver penetration of shared services model across Lubrizol
- Continuously align regional and functional P&Ls to promote value creation
- Perform cash flow analysis for strategic projects including capital investments, make vs buy decisions, and financial oversight of opportunistic contract manufacturing activities
- Time to Time, participate in opportunistic growth projects analytics seeking high growth region procurement or selling partnerships
- Support the tracking and execution of the High Growth Regions strategic initiatives, working with the regional finance leads to identify areas for improvement and KPI tracking
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field from an accredited university (CPA and/or MBA or equivalent preferred)
- Minimum of 15 years experience in accounting or related field
- Proficiency in SAP, SharePoint, BOBJ, Power BI, or advanced Excel functions
- Experience leading teams
- Motivated team player, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Capable of building relationships across functions and regions
