You have come to the right place.Position SummaryThe Vendor Claims Coordinator is responsible for managing and resolving vendor-related claims, ensuring accuracy in billing, and maintaining compliance with company policies and contractual agreements. This role serves as the primary liaison between vendors, internal departments, and management to investigate, document, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.Key ResponsibilitiesReview, analyze, and process vendor claims related to defective material.Investigate claims by gathering supporting documentation from vendors, operations, field, purchasing,, warehouse and accounting teams.Ensure claims are accurately recorded, tracked, and resolved within established timelines.Communicate claim status and resolutions to vendors and internal stakeholders.Maintain accurate records of claims and supporting documentation for audit and reporting purposes.Partner with Finance and Accounts Payable to ensure correct adjustments are applied to invoices and payments.Monitor claim trends, prepare reports, and provide recommendations to improve processes and reduce future discrepancies.Support vendor relationship management by providing clear, professional, and timely communication.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.2+ years of experience in vendor claims, supply chain, or related role.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) preferred.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Strong organizational and time-management abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Key CompetenciesProblem-solving and analytical thinkingVendor and customer service orientationAccuracy and attention to detailStrong follow-up and accountabilityCollaboration and teamworkReports ToPurchasing ManagerPay range: $20-$24.50 plus benefitsIf you like working with a growing close knit team and helping home owners design the home of their dreams, come build your career with us!All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, individual with disabilities, veteran status, gender identity or national origin.
