Minimum of 4 shifts per month
12-hour shifts (7 pm - 7 am)
Long-term contract with potential for extension
Work authorized under any active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
Open to both local and travel locum candidates
Day or Night shifts available

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients of all ages
Perform medical evaluations, diagnose conditions, and implement treatment plans
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including specialists, nurses, and support staff
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
May provide guidance to support staff and contribute to departmental leadership

Additional Information:Shift schedules may change based on patient volume and hospital needs. Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Physicians must have completed an Emergency Medicine residency, or completed a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine or other residency with 1.5 years of Emergency Medicine experience.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
Active, unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Emergency Medicine
Current and valid BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications will be required
Current DEA license with eligibility to prescribe medications
Certification of education (copy of diploma or transcripts required)
U.S. Citizenship and current residence in the continental United States
Must not require visa sponsorship (no visa holders or green card residents)
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Willingness to comply with all federal and state medical regulations
Strong organizational and time-management skills
A valid driver's license may be needed
Commitment to patient-centered care and culturally sensitive practice
Flexibility and adaptability to a changing clinical environment
