- Defining and delivering Document Control strategies, standards and processes for client-facing projects and programs.
- Establishing and managing the project/ program Document Control function following the strategy, standards and processes set.
- Training project/program colleagues in Document Control practices and processes and drives awareness and continuous improvement.
- Managing the assurance and quality control of documents and artefacts are submitted and stored.
- Line managing, coaching and supporting the Document Control team working on the project, as direct and indirect reports.
- Contributing to the set-up, implementation and development of the common data environment (CDE).
- Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Document Control and Information Management across large-scale infrastructure projects, including expertise in information architecture and data governance.
- Proven track record supporting mega projects or programs, with deep understanding of complex document workflows and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and lead document control systems, including naming conventions, numbering protocols, and structured filing methodologies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PMIS tools (SharePoint, eBuilder, PM Web, Oracle, Kahua) and Windows-based software.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with a focus on accuracy, version control, and audit readiness in high-volume document environments.
