
Injection Molding Supervisor (3rd Shift)

- Consistently maintains a positive attitude, volunteers for additional assignments and assists other team members as needed.
- Develops new injection molding, automation processes and directs the process team on developing or improving new processing methods.
- Leads a team of molding, automation, and production assistant technicians in a fast paced production environment.
- Verifies the existing mold / automation setups are correct and provides positive feedback to Tech ops team members.
- Troubleshoots and maintains new and production approved molds / automation equipment's.
- Recommends, develops, assigns or implements production process improvements.
- Mentors and guides team members to improve molded component quality / automation equipment's and performance
- Creates and maintains molding / automation process setup datasheets, work instructions, protocols, and other process documentation.
- Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe work environment utilizing 5S processes and other lean methodologies.
- Develops and performs formal individual and group injection molding / automation training sessions.
- Works various shifts and occasional weekends to support the tech ops department as needed
- Monitors machine performance and maintains optimal production standards at all times.
- Troubleshoots and eliminates various molded part defects / automation repairs, utilizing formal root cause analysis techniques.
- Directs all production scheduling duties for all tech op technicians.
- Develops processes for new molds / new automations using scientific molding/ automation practices.
- Other duties may be assigned.
