- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Director to lead our global sales efforts in the Procurement and Supply Chain Consulting and Managed Services sector. This role will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth, enhance client relationships, and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, with experience managing a diverse team of professionals.
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive global sales strategy for procurement and supply chain consulting services, aligning with the company’s overall business objectives.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 14 sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of the industry.
- Sales Performance: Set and monitor sales targets and KPIs for the team, providing regular performance reports to senior management and making data-driven decisions to optimize sales efforts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and product development, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Budget Management: Oversee the sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize return on investment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a focus on procurement and supply chain consulting or managed services.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth on a global scale.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to inform decision-making and strategy development.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events. Up to 75%.
