Responsible for the manufacturing of BD product according to specifications established by engineering and quality assurance departments. Maintains equipment and work area in a clean, organized manner. Conducts all activities as required under FDA regulations, OSHA regulations, ISO requirements, and other applicable regulatory requirements. All duties listed are essential functions unless otherwise stated. Other duties may be assigned as needed.ResponsibilitiesReview and verify documentation (i.e., traveler's paperwork)Prepare materials/equipment/supplies necessary for productionRecord time and production informationWork with various tools to complete tasks such as assembling, inspecting, packaging, or testing productsCommunicate with supervisors regarding issues/problems with productionAdhere to safety procedures and guidelinesMaintain cleanliness of area and equipmentSubmit and assist with the resolution of CAPA's (Corrective Action Plan)Follow standard operating proceduresTrain new employeesParticipate in scheduled team meetings and contributes to continuous improvementMeet deadlinesQualificationsAbility to read/write English documentsBasic math skillsBasic computer skillsHigh school diploma or equivalentExcellent communication skillsStrong organizational skillsDetail orientedAble to work independentlyAbility to lift up to 25 poundsAt BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
