Get to Know Your Team:
  • UT Health Carthage boasts 23 private patient rooms featuring a 24-hour emergency department, designated as a Level IV trauma center with advanced diagnostic technology, a cardiac rehabilitation program, a GI lab, outpatient clinics and a sleep lab.
ResponsibilitiesPerforms MRI procedures in order to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Functions under the direction of the Imaging Department Director (or designee), the MRI supervisor and in cooperation with the radiologists. This position is subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital.
QualificationsJob Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an AMA school of radiologic technology.
  • Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire
  • Achieve ARRT registry in MRI within 18 months of hire
  • Knowledge and ability to operate all equipment and perform all MRI procedures as normally required in these areas
Preferred Job Requirements:
  • Preferred 2 to 3 years as a diagnostic technologist
