
Senior Manager, Finance - Connected Planning (Sam's Club)

- Support Strategic Planning Initiatives: Collaborate with Finance and business partners to help define planning objectives that align with corporate goals. Translate high-level strategies into tactical action plans and support their execution.
- Drive Financial Planning Transformation: Participate in the design and implementation of connected planning tools and processes. Focus on simplification, automation, and integration to support short- and long-term business goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between finance, merchandising, operations, ecommerce supply chain, membership, and tech teams to drive planning projects and ensure alignment across business functions.
- Problem Solving & Roadmapping: Identify pain points in existing planning processes and propose solutions. Assist in developing roadmaps and milestones that support transformation initiatives.
- Data-Driven Decision Support: Leverage financial data and analytics to support planning decisions. Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
- Change Enablement: Partner with leaders across the business to support change management activities that drive adoption of new planning solutions and ways of working.
- Have strong financial acumen and understand P&L dynamics

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or business operations
- 1+ years of experience working on cross-functional initiatives or projects
- Experience using planning tools or analytics platforms (e.g., OneStream, SAP, Power BI) is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders
- Experience working in Agile or product-led environments is a plus
- Experience in a large, matrixed organization
- Exposure to transformation or change management efforts
- Familiarity with Connected Planning principles and technology
- Experience implementing or managing Connected Planning platforms (e.g., Anaplan, OneStream)
- Understanding of GenAI or ML-based forecasting tools
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across business units
- Industry experience in retail, supply chain, or membership-based business models
- Master's degree or MBA is a plus
