- Advise, coordinate and manage relationships across multiple client advisers, including attorneys, accountants and bankers to ensure seamless communication and integration of planning.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to identify trends and planning opportunities or challenges.
- Develop and implement tax efficiency planning strategies and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulation.
- Prepare and review client tax returns. Estate and Trust Planning
- Collaborate with client T&E attorney to develop, illustrate, and implement estate plans.
- Ensure efficient transfer of wealth and the minimization of estate taxes. Risk Management and Insurance Planning
- Assess and manage risk exposure through insurance planning; develop strategies to mitigate risk and protect
- Analyze and manage client cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity to meet all financial obligations.
- Collaborate with clients to develop and implement philanthropic strategies, including charitable giving and foundation planning to ensure tax-efficient giving and a maximized impact.
- Monitor and analyze investment portfolios to ensure alignment with client goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal and external investment managers to optimize investment strategies.
- Track and report on alternative investment portfolio.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Advanced degree/designation required (e.g., MST, MBA, JD, CPA, CFP).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, tax, consulting, or a related field.
- Proven track record of working with ultra-high net worth clients.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning concepts, including tax planning, estate planning, and investment management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
- Experience managing a team or acting in a leadership position.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information.
The expected base salary for this San Francisco, California, United States-based position is $85000-$270000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.Benefits
