  • Sampling inbound trucks and assisting drivers
  • Loading railcars
  • Monitoring Utilities Wastewater System
  • Operate control system and respond to alarms
  • Handle 20% caustic totes
  • Tank gauging and sampling
  • Issuance of work permits
  • Troubleshooting equipment
  • Basic site security including permitter rounds, opening gates, and monitoring cameras
  • Emergency response for spills, etc
  • Housekeeping, minor maintenance, and other tasks as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Basic computer, math, and verbal skills are required.
  • Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift in all weather conditions is required.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed is required.
  • Ability to learn mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems to perform logistics tasks is required.
  • Ability to learn basic maintenance skills is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Successful applicants must be fit to perform the essential functions of the job and adhere to a strict Drug and Alcohol policy.
  • Successful applicants will also be required to pass pre-employment testing.
  • Upon employment, candidates are required to join the Employees’ Representation Association (ERA).
  • Vocational technical training is preferred.
  • 2 years of equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • 5 years of stable work experience in a light industrial or commercial industry setting is preferred.
