We are seeking a Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) for a 13-week contract in Youngstown, Ohio. Job Details
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: July 28, 2025
- End Date: October 27, 2025
- Shift: Day shifts, Monday to Friday, 0630-3p (8 hours) or 0630-5p (10 hours)
- On Call: Approximately 10-12 call shifts over a 6-week schedule
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of Ohio or covered by compact
- BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of cardiac experience, with at least 1-2 years in general nursing
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Dysrhythmia Exam Required (Study Guide Available)
- Deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process through data collection and assessment
- Coordinate, provide, and direct patient teaching activities
- Administer medications safely and consistently
- Serve as a point of contact for patient care coordination throughout hospital departments
- Manage nursing care within the OR and coordinate the needs of the surgical team
- Provide preop, intraop, and post-op care, including assessment and discharge instructions
- Anticipate scrub nurse needs and assist with sterile packs and equipment operation
