This role is a key contributor across the entire TPRM program and may be called on to support any activity - from operational tasks to strategic initiatives – based on program priorities. You’ll help protect Target’s interests by ensuring we understand, evaluate, and mitigate risks associated with third-party partnerships, while promoting Relationship Management best practices across the vendor lifecycle – planning, due diligence, contracting, ongoing monitoring, and termination.As a Sr. Third Party Risk Management Consultant, you will:Risk Assessments & AnalysisConduct due diligence on prospective third parties and reassess on a risk-based schedule, evaluating reputation, experience, and financial health to assign risk tiers (high/medium/low).Deliver expert risk analysis and clear, actionable insights to Target Relationship Managers (RMs), outlining potential business impacts and mitigation strategies.Lead risk assessment meetings with RMs to explain results and advise on interpretation and next steps.Contribute to the creation of executive risk profiles for Target’s most critical third parties.Understand the entirety of the TPRM Intake and Risk Assessment process with the ability to support intake processing in TPRM systems.Ongoing MonitoringSupport large Ongoing Monitoring programs providing program management, partner team engagement, and consolidation/presentation of ongoing critical vendor reviews.Monitor ongoing risks via alerts in TPRM tools; notify RMs and provide guidance on mitigation.Maintain and support TPRM dashboards, responding to inquiries and providing guidance.Monitor dashboards to ensure new vendors are receiving the appropriate vetting.Program EnablementSupport enterprise training efforts by contributing to the development and content delivery of vendor lifecycle management practices.Support process mapping, SharePoint instructions advancing program initiatives.Help define and track team objectives and key results (OKRs), adjusting priorities as needed based on team priorities.Work independently with minimal direction, using discretion and good judgment in a hybrid work environment.Foster a positive team culture grounded in Inclusivity, Connection, and Drive.Core responsibilities of this job are described within this job description. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.About you:Four-year degree or equivalent experienceComfortable working in ambiguity and adjusting to shifting business needs3+ years managing vendor relationships, including onboarding and performance monitoring, ideally with vendors requiring close collaboration throughout the vendor lifecycle3+ years of experience in third party risk or risk managementEffective communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and simplyAbility to simplify complex processes and focus on high-impact, strategic prioritiesSkillful in handling confidential information with discretionProficient in enterprise tools (Archer, Ariba, Supplier Management, Vendor Maintenance and Management, Domo, Confluence) and Microsoft OfficeProven ability to lead projects, facilitate meetings, and contribute to cross-functional teamsExperience identifying process improvements and supporting automation effortsResults-driven with a demonstrated history of executing on goals and timelinesPreferred Qualifications:Experience building training modules, SharePoint sites/newsletters, and Confluence process flowsCertified Regulatory Vendor Program Manager (CRVPM) designation or equivalentThis position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
