Shift: 1st Shift - Monday-Friday 4:30 /5 AM Start time.8 hour shift minimum. Lots of overtime offered!- Direct Hire Position with a Union Company!-Must have experience with setting up CNC manual mills and lathes and horizontal machining centers.CNC Machinist Job Details:The CNC Machinist performs duties to setup and instruct assigned department. Employees in the setup and operation of a wide variety of computer numerical controlled work centers. This position works from complex blueprints, shop orders, tool sheets, sketches, computer printouts and instructions to perform the following duties.Other Job Duties Include:
- Train operators and setup personnel and direct departmental employees on work elements.
- Troubleshoot quality issues with machined parts
- Set tooling and fixtures according to print or layouts and maintain accurate tooling inventory.
- Setup work center calling up program and modify as needed.
- Assist operator in loading and operating machine and prepare production records as required.
- CNC Set Up Operator, Machinist duties as needed
- 4+ years' experience as a CNC Setup Operator / CNC Machinist
- Complete 6S training
- Complete safety auditor training
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Ability to read blueprints and perform shop math.
- Ability to read and understand G code.
- High School Diploma or GED
