You’ll support the electrical engineering function within the R&D division, based in Arden Hills, with an on-site work mode.Work Mode:At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. - Set up and operate electrical equipment for design, prototyping, and testing of electronic components and systems.
- Assemble and troubleshoot PCBs and circuit boards, progressing to full system testing.
- Conduct design verification and provide performance feedback to improve product quality.
- Document procedures, test results, and prototype issues for internal reporting and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external vendors to support development needs.
- Execute bench-level tests using standard electronic equipment.
- Support data acquisition and analysis using DAQ cards and power analyzers.
- Assist in EMI testing and evaluation of electrical performance.
- Communicate project status and contribute to refining technical specifications.
- Maintain lab safety and equipment standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in electronic/electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience with function generators, power supplies, and source measure units (SMUs).
- Familiarity with design verification processes and bench-level test execution.
- Knowledge of data acquisition systems and EMI testing protocols.
- Experience with LabVIEW automation and scripting.
- Prior work in medical device development or testing.
- Exposure to hardware or design engineering teams.
- Proven troubleshooting skills in a lab environment.
- Familiarity with power analyzers and advanced test instrumentation.
