– Manage new part tooling needs and requests for investment cast tool fabrication
– Collaborate with Customers, Engineering, Operations, Sales, and vendors
– Coordinate tooling maintenance, revisions, and improvements
– Monitor tooling performance and execute corrective actions
– Support production needs for tooling maintenance
– Expert in dimensional inspection and programming inspection equipment
– Engineering support for continuous improvement and plant profitabilityRequirements:
– 5+ years of tooling design experience for metal or plastic processes
– BS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering
– Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
– Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
