This person may be required to direct the work of contractors who are conducting electrical installation of equipment. This person would build and install control boxes on new or refurbished equipment. This person may be required to help maintenance teams solve production maintenance related issues.The Technician routinely performs preventative maintenance on all equipment and components to ensure the continued safe, efficient, and effective operations of equipment used in the facility. This position also assists with maintaining parts inventory, organizing, and maintaining the electrical maintenance shop, as well as inspecting and diagnosing malfunctions and breakdowns and performs repairs. This position must be able to take a proactive approach to preventative maintenance to improve equipment reliability.Responsibilities:
Reads and interprets blueprints and electrical code specifications and schematics to effectively troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment.
Installs, tests, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring, control devices, and equipment.
Diagnoses, determines cause, and repairs malfunctioning equipment using test equipment.
