- Provide daily support to the manufacturing processes used to produce parts for turbine generators.
- Work together with MEs to capture processes to manufacture new generators as well as service by creating and issuing detailed work instructions to factory floor operations.
- Work with the manufacturing team to improve safety, improve quality, reduce cycle times, and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Assist the maintenance team with troubleshooting process equipment. Design and procure tooling as needed to support the manufacturing processes.
- Identify and evaluate the needs for new equipment and new manufacturing processes to enhance competitiveness.
- Support day-to-day tactical support of area responsible for the stator coil manufacturing.
- Support quality and ability to drive process improvements will be an integral part of the success
- Challenge the status quo and look for new, innovative ways to manufacture our customer products.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledgeable in 3D CAD software and Microsoft Office.
- Min. 1-2 yrs. Experience in Manufacturing & shop floor
- Excellent written and verbal communications.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to a changing work environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
- Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 0% of travel is required.
