Job Description:Senior Transportation, Storage, and Distribution Manager***This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to be considered. ***As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen, lawful resident alien, citizen of America.CNAS is actively searching for a seasoned Senior Transportation, Storage and Distribution manager. As a Senior Transportation, Storage, and Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating transportation, storage, and distribution activities within our organization. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient logistics operations, adhering to organizational policies, and complying with relevant government regulations. This position requires a high level of expertise in supply chain management and the ability to lead ateam effectively.Compensation & Benefits:Estimated Starting Salary Range:Pay commensurate with experience.Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.Responsibilities Include:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for transportation, storage, and distribution operations.
  • Coordinate transportation logistics to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective shipping.
  • Supervise personnel involved in receiving, storing, inventory management, packaging, and shipping.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and government regulations.
  • Take responsibility for warehouse safety and security programs.
  • Conduct regular inspections of warehouses, vehicle fleets, and equipment.
  • Provide guidance and support in handling unusual or non-routine problems.
  • Possess a bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent qualification.
  • Have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in supply chain management.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail and adaptability to changing circumstances.
  • Possess familiarity with relevant government regulations and industry standards.
  • Proficient in relevant software applications for inventory management and logistics planning.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent qualification. associate degree plus four years of additional work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree, six years of work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in supply chain management.
  • Strong leadership skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in logistics operations.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with relevant government regulations and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in software applications for inventory management and logistics planning.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
