- Develop and implement systems to monitor, track, and execute litigation strategies effectively.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of 35 attorneys, promoting a positive and collaborative culture.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development for attorneys.
- Mentor and guide the paralegal manager and paralegals to achieve departmental objectives.
- Coordinate with other practice areas and departments to ensure seamless integration and collaboration.
- Develop and execute litigation strategies for personal injury cases, aiming for optimal client outcomes.
- Review and analyze legal documents, pleadings, and motions to ensure compliance, accuracy, and quality.
- Conduct legal research, stay updated on relevant laws and regulations, and uphold ethical standards.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
- Act as the primary contact for clients, providing regular updates on case progress and outcomes.
- Collaborate with attorneys to develop client-focused litigation strategies.
- Work with firm partners and senior management to create and execute strategies for business development and growth.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and drive innovation within the litigation department.
- Participate in marketing and networking efforts to enhance the firms reputation and expand its client base.
- Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensure: Admitted to practice law in one of the states where the firm operates (NJ, NY, CT, PA, MA, or FL; NJ or NY preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury law.
- Proven ability to manage and lead teams of attorneys.
- Deep knowledge of personal injury laws, regulations, and legal procedures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High proficiency with technology and reporting tools.
