- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing within 72 hours of delivery
- Audit shipment notes to confirm all charges are accounted for
- Generate and send invoices and customer statements
- Maintain accurate customer AR profiles and records
- Post incoming customer payments
- Resolve billing discrepancies, process credits/discounts
- Monitor AR aging and proactively follow up on overdue payments
- Communicate with customers to support collections and ensure satisfaction
- Assist with HCPOD/POD requests and charge-related issues
- Prepare bank deposits
- Exceptional relationship building skills with the ability to earn trust and confidence
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Laser focused on meeting all departmental and company goals & objectives while working within the underlying principles of the Company (Service Delivered with Heart)
- Able to multi-task x 10. This means monitoring multiple computer screens while sending email and talking on the phone;

- Education:
- High school diploma with 2+ years of AR/bookkeeping experience required
- College degree preferred
- Transportation or logistics experience a plus
- Familiarity with transportation management software (TMS) compliance, and other relevant tools
- Proven knowledge of and ability to work with MS Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel, and with web-based automated management systems a plus
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting
- Proven, quality written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent negotiation abilities
- Strong customer service skills and ability to facilitate satisfactory quality outcomes
- Ability to multi-task, working and communicating in a group dynamic
