Job Summary:Performs duties to set up, adjust and operate various types of tube cutting and end finishing equipment to produce tubing of a specified length and end condition. Receives direction from the shift Supervisor/Department Manager.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Confirm that tubing presented to the Cutoff/End Finish Machine, conforms to the order.
Setups, installs, and adjusts tools, collets, clamps, targets, etc. for product size, desired length, and end finish.
Verify finished tubing is within size and length tolerance and satisfies order requirements for straightness and surface.
Accurately enters product tag and inspection reports into the Apollo System. Segregate discrepant material from prime product.
Performs minor polishing of collets and clamps if/when necessary.
Bundles, bands, and frames tubing for shipment.
Refers concerns about tubing quality or equipment condition to Supervisor/Department Manager.
Perform routine preventative maintenance procedures on Cutoff/End Finish Machines and assist Maintenance Employees with repairs.
NEVER operate a machine without Safety Guards in place.
Communicates with other shifts regarding the status of operations and equipment.
Must be available for overtime as required.
Maintain a CLEAN, ORGANIZED and SAFE work area.

Good Mechanical Aptitude.
Must be able to read and understand a tape measure, micrometer, and all other measuring tools needed for customer requirements.
Qualified hours on the straightener/Mag Tester.
