
Director of Hospital Sales

- Achieve regional sales and operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends; determine regional sales system improvements and implement changes
- Grow a sales pipeline to meet quarterly targets as directed
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts
- Establish common ground and focus on win-win outcomes while gaining concessions and protecting organizational interests
- Build and maintain relationships with VP level and above
- Minimum of 3 years of hospital sales experience including strategic, consultive and complex selling
- Minimum of 10 years professional experience in health care
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Proven ability to develop and manage long-term relationships
- Proven networking skills
- Track record of successful negotiation with the most skilled or resistant groups
- Great organizational and time management skills
- Creative thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Successful track record working with sales organizations to achieve and exceed sales goals
- Ability to make compelling presentations to hospital decision-makers using visual aids and other media
- Minimum travel requirement 30-50% (by car or air depending on territory)
