We’ve inspired each other to discover thoughtful and creative solutions that look beyond the needs of today to the opportunities of tomorrow.What You Will Do:As a senior right of way specialist, you would manage projects and conduct acquisition for multiple types of right of way projects with an emphasis on transmission, gas, and renewable energy.Services provided on our right of way projects would include project management, meeting clients and design staff, title investigations, offer presentation and negotiation services. In addition, the person in this position would research property ownership, file set up, notarize documents, drafting conveyance documents and obtain mortgage releases. This position require business development with existing and potentially new clients.What You Will Bring:
  • Associate’s degree in business, planning, survey, real estate, communications, law, or a closely related field with eight or more years of right of way related experience, such as, project management, right of way acquisition, relocation, title examination and right of way analysis.
  • Knowledge, experience and contacts in right of way work related to transmission, gas, renewable energy, and transportation.
  • Skill in conflict resolution includes the ability to address differences of opinions or facts and use the most appropriate method to reach an effective solution.
  • Ability to work independently, communicate and document effectively, handle large volumes of work
  • Willingness to travel within Colorado and to out-state projects
  • Acquisition and project management experience
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Knowledge of acquisition and relocation procedures under the Uniform Relocation Act
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with GIS, Microsoft Office Products and various databases
Preferred Qualifications:
  • IRWA Member
  • IRWA SR/WA designation
  • Real Estate license in Colorado
