This role is a junior level role focusing on a variety of mortgage products, specifically on the Agency Mortgage Structuring and Trading desk. This position is generally the first step into a mortgage trading position on the desk. This is an amazing opportunity to become part of an industry leading team of traders with an investor base which spans the globe.Role Responsibilities:
  • Assist senior traders in structuring and marketing Agency CMOs (Collateralized Mortgage Obligations)
  • Work with internal and external partners to ensure smooth functioning of the new issue CMO structuring process.
  • Help ensure trades and risks are reflected accurately
  • Run risk reports and reconcile P&L
  • Compile market share and league tables data
Skills:
  • Be comfortable in a fast paced, high volume trading and structuring role
  • Be highly motivated, eager to learn and extremely detail oriented
  • Have a strong analytical and quantitative skillset
