In this role, the Director will execute on strategically aligned fundraising initiatives to meet annual and multi-year goals by securing current and future gifts to achieve annual and multi-year growth goals. This includes, but is not limited to, annual, major, and planned gifts, capital campaigns, events, team member giving, and grants. Additionally, the Director is responsible to ensure strong fiscal management and operational support and excellent donor engagement, board engagement, governance, and policy adherence. The Director will consistently exhibit collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The Director will secure major philanthropic gifts for AdventHealth NR hospital and/or market capital and programmatic needs. This is accomplished by developing and maintaining relationships with the board, executive team, physicians, donors, grateful patients, businesses, and community members interested in investing in healthcare in their community. The VP of Philanthropy for the NR in collaboration with the market CEO and Foundation Board is responsible for the creating the strategic and operational direction of the Foundations to ensure fundraising is aligned with priorities and key growth initiatives. The Director will support the strategic goals and operational direction by aligning internal stakeholders and Foundation boards. The Director recruits donors, community members, physicians, and business leaders to voluntarily serve on AH NR Foundation boards and other volunteer activities to raise funds and create awareness, as well as to make and secure gifts, create connections to individuals and businesses who are philanthropic, and help drive top quartile performance. The Director is responsible for ensuring the Foundation is stewarding the funds it has been entrusted to manage and distribute as the donor intended. This leader will consistently demonstrate the ability to advance the work of the Foundation by building relationships, working collaboratively, managing resources, and driving results.The value youll bring to the team:Ensures the active and informed engagement of the Foundation Board, its committees, as well as Region and campus executives in securing charitable investments to advance the short and long-term strategic goals and operational priorities of the hospital.Works with Executives, Foundation VP, and board to ensure the establishment of realistic annual financial goals based on the strategic priorities of the hospital.Places primary focus on relationship-based giving from individuals and businesses through major, planned, and blended gifts.Works with hospital leadership and Foundation Board to identify, engage, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospects and donors.Works collaboratively with Finance to ensure accurate documentation and fiscal management and accountability.
