This is a key role responsible for developing accurate and competitive estimates for a variety of commercial construction projects across diverse sectors. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and thrives in an environment where collaboration and precision are essential.Key Responsibilities:Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects from concept through final bidAnalyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate quantity takeoffs and scopes of workSolicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricingCoordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients during the preconstruction phaseDevelop and maintain unit cost databases and historical cost recordsIdentify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering alternativesAssist in bid presentations and proposalsQualifications:3+ years of experience as a construction estimator, preferably in commercial, multifamily or light-industrial constructionStrong knowledge of estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Sage Estimating, Procore, etc.)Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specsSolid understanding of construction means and methods, materials, and local codesExcellent communication and organizational skillsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredWhat’s Offered:Competitive compensation packageMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidays
