
Program Coordinator - BR Health District

- Develop, implement, and manage programs and initiatives aligned with organizational goals, particularly BRHireD.
- Ensure program compliance with funding and reporting requirements.
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for all assigned initiatives maintaining regular communication with key participants and stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a liaison between BRHD leadership, community-based organizations, training providers, and employer partners.
- Support the development of program documentation, progress reports, and grant-related communications.
- Coordinate with partner organizations for referral services and wraparound supports.
- Contribute to all initiative meetings including meeting development and execution under the direction of the Program Manager.
- Data Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor key performance metrics as defined by funders, reporting requirements and internal dashboards.
- Collect, verify, and aggregate monthly data reports to support program progress and continued communication both internally and externally.
- Analyze program effectiveness and recommend improvements based on data and feedback.
- Assist with grant reports for all key initiatives, coalitions and committees as directed by the Program Manager.
- BRHireD Specific Support
- Oversee participant intake, assessment, case management, and progress tracking.
- Conduct client/participant check ins, interviews, intake process, etc. to support program enrollment and successful completion.
- Coordinate the distribution of tuition assistance, stipends, and employment-based incentives in collaboration with training providers and employer HR teams as needed.
- Track participant progress through training, job placement, and employment milestones (2-month and 6-month retention).
- Facilitate referrals to additional support services via BRHireD partner network.
- Promote workforce development services to potential participants through community outreach, events, and marketing campaigns.
- Represent the organization at job fairs, community meetings, and coalition groups as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Service, Education, Business, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in program coordination, workforce development, education, or healthcare-related initiatives.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with data collection, reporting, and performance tracking
- Experience working with diverse, underserved, or marginalized populations.
- Experience working with training providers or healthcare employers
- Familiarity with workforce development funding or grant-funded programs particularly WIOA program, Department of Labor initiatives, or similar workforce systems.
- Knowledge of healthcare workforce trends, especially in allied health or nursing support fields
