
Maintenance Technician

- Inspect, clean, and evaluate all Production Tooling in preparation for Production runs.
- Inspect, clean, evaluate and properly maintain Production Tooling following Production runs
- Identify issues in tolerance, performance, etc. during the inspection and evaluation process
- Assembly & disassembly of high-precision tooling precisely following specified processes and procedures
- Complete required documentation including recording of precision measurements, etc.
- Interact with support activities (Maintenance, Tool Room, Process, etc.) to identify and determine corrective actions required to return all tooling torequired performance levels.
- Able to read machine prints and determine proper equipment required to fabricate the desired item
- Fabrication and maintenance of trim dies, details, etc.
- Fabrication and maintenance of thermoforming tooling both conventional and trim-in place.
- Use of traditional metal fabrication equipment including lathes, mills, grinders, etc.
- Use of precision measurement devices
- Understand proper tolerance of components for thermoforming, punching plastic parts, etc.
- Basic lifting & rigging principles and practices
- Must be capable of working with others to achieve the shift production targets.
- Ability to work overtime as required to achieve timing goals
- Ability to teach and mentor other team members as necessary
- High School diploma
- Completion of a trade school apprenticeship (desired but not required)
- Journeyman Tool&Die Maker (desired but not required)
- 5-7yrs of demonstrated work experience (see Required Skills/Abilities/Experience)
- Must lift 50 lbs. or more
- Bending, lifting, twisting, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling
- Up and down on a forklift
- Standing/walking for extended periods of time
