- Ensures every guest is greeted and welcomed on arrival.
- Registers and book guests, verifying reservation, address, email address and credit information.
- Pre-assigning rooms to incoming reservations to ensure room type availability and to open opportunity for upsells.
- Communicate with Housekeeping, Sales & Events team on a continuous basis throughout the day.
- Proficient on kiosk operations to assist when necessary.
- Answers all inbound calls in a professional manner.
- Has an intimate knowledge of the hotel facilities and the local geographic area.
- Accepts payment for guests' accounts at the time of registration and at checkout.
- Maintains a house bank and make a deposit and accurate report of receipts daily.
- Processes all Retail transactions for the guest.
- Responsible for restocking and assuring overall cleanliness of Retail.
- Issues luggage claims and check guest luggage when requested.
- Takes pride in the overall look and feel of the hotel assuring cleanliness and conditions are at their peak at all times.
- Respectfully listen and respond to guest complaints in an efficient and professional manner.
- Completes additional duties as assigned.
- High School or equivalent education required.
- 1-2 years of experience in hospitality related environment, with at least 1 years of supervisory experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions in a multi-lingual environment.
- Extensive knowledge of the hotel, services, and facilities.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; Ability to communicate effectively with community partners, vendors / external parties, and across internal divisions.
