Because of their continued growth, a Multi-family General Contractor in the GREATER SEATTLE AREA seeks a LEAD SUPERINTENDENT to join their team, preferably with projects of $50M+ experience. As a leader in the building industry, my client hires the best and provide them with outstanding opportunities for personal and professional growth in a supportive, team-orientated environment, and excellent compensation packages.The Lead Superintendent is responsible for providing leadership and management to assigned projects safely, profitable, and timely. The manages the job site and works in a manner consistent with standards of quality and integrity and will participate in the all of the construction phases of the projects assigned.Lead Superintendent Key Responsibilities Include: * Responsibility for project success, including safety, schedule, profitability, quality.
  • Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Champions the orderly, timely completion of projects in the field.
  • Coordinates with the Project Manager the means and methods required for the successful and profitable execution of the work.
  • Assures coordination with the Project Manager and the procurement schedule with the Project Engineer. Pays special attention to prevention and documentation of delays or changes.
  • Uses available reports to manage costs and prepare accurate cost projections.
  • Reviews and executes all change orders.
  • Completes close-out requirements and punch lists promptly.
  • Provides feedback to estimators for future bidding or negotiations, especially subcontractor performance evaluations.
Lead Superintendent Job Requirements: * Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical training and/or related experience.
  • 10+ years Experience in managing construction projects and a thorough knowledge of contract documents, materials, equipment utilization, scheduling systems, productivity analysis, construction operations, and cash flow procedures is essential.
  • This manager-level superintendent can manage large projects (50M+) of a complex nature and possibly multiple projects.
  • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs
