Job Description:Accountabilities:
  • Weekly Progress Updates: Supplier execution status, testing outcomes, and risk assessments reported to OEM leadership.
  • Milestone Reviews: Conduct and document PDR, CDR, and readiness assessments aligned with project phase gates.
Qualification and Testing Timeline:
  • Detailed schedule including test events, DAR/DER visits, and review checkpoints to ensure timely certification.
  • Compliance with OEM Specifications: All drawings, engineering data, and reports must align with internal design and performance criteria.
  • Quality Assurance Benchmarks: Adherence to AS9100 standards and OEM supplier KPIs for quality, delivery, and technical compliance.
  • Programmatic Consistency: Deliverables must meet contract-defined scope, cost, and schedule performance metrics (e.g., Earned Value Management targets).
  • Develops, coordinates, and manages integrated program/project schedules, as well as certification activities.
  • Develop, coordinate, and manage financial plans for each assigned project.
  • Interfaces with Sales, Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Flight Test, Engineering, Finance, and other organizations to ensure company milestones are completed according to program requirements and schedule.
  • Develop tools, processes, and key KPIs for executive-level transparency into program cost and schedule performance.
  • Own risk, action, issue, and decision logs.
Required Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, systems Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 10-15+ years of Aerospace engineering experience with at least 10 years in the design, engineering, and Part 23 certification of aircraft Interiors for business jet Cabin Interiors in serial production (can be TC or STC).
  • Engineering Management/Leadership.
  • In-depth knowledge and facility of design in CATIA and PLM software for aircraft engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in Cabin System design and integration, including: Composite design, manufacturing, and assembly techniques.
  • Qualification (Do-160, etc) to GAMA publication no.13 (structural qualification for interior monuments).
  • Monument and Liner Attachment design and qualification, considering bonding, build sequence, and adjustability for dimensional management.
  • Sub-component Wiring harness development.
  • Options and configuration management.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, specs, and requirements.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills in high-stakes, supplier-facing environments.
