- Lead the development, implementation, and oversight of organizational policies related to home dialysis services, ensuring alignment with CMS, state, and industry standards.
- Interpret and operationalize federal and state regulations, including Conditions for Coverage, QIP, and telehealth statutes, into actionable internal policies and protocols.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Government Affairs teams to anticipate, influence, and respond to regulatory changes impacting home care delivery.
- Oversee the design and execution of informatics strategies that support clinical workflows, documentation, and remote monitoring in the home environment.
- Ensure home dialysis EMR platforms and tools are optimized for clinical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and user experience.
- Partner with IT, Clinical Innovation, and Excellence teams to align digital solutions with care model enhancements and data governance standards.
- Develop and maintain data dashboards and analytics frameworks to monitor policy adherence, patient outcomes, and operational performance in home dialysis.
- Leverage clinical and operational data to inform continuous improvement efforts and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure data quality, privacy, and interoperability across platforms supporting home-based care.
- Serve as a key resource and educator for internal stakeholders, including field leaders, on policy requirements and informatics tools related to home modalities.
- Lead cross-departmental workgroups to develop scalable policies and technology enhancements for home dialysis services.
- Provide consultative support during audits, regulatory reviews, or major changes to CMS guidance.
- Represent the organization in national workgroups, coalitions, and industry discussions related to home dialysis policy and informatics innovation.
- Advocate for the advancement of home dialysis through policy development, technology integration, and alignment with value-based care initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Informatics, Public Policy, or a related field required.
- Master's degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in health policy, informatics, or regulatory affairs--preferably within dialysis or home health sectors.
- Collaborate with policy, regulatory, and clinical teams to translate health informatics insights into practical standards and streamlined workflows.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing policies informed by clinical informatics and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience managing cross-functional initiatives involving EMRs, analytics, and remote care technology.
- Proficient in clinical informatics platforms, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and EMR systems used in home dialysis.
- Strong working knowledge of CMS Conditions for Coverage, HIPAA, HITECH, and telehealth regulations.
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PPT.
