- The budgeted salary range for this position is $60,656 - $69,754. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.
- Organize and prioritize operational requirements based on departmental SOP’s, end of season analysis, and prescribed initiatives
- Supervise, schedule and staff a team of Pros to meet daily operational needs while ensuring scheduling accuracy throughout the season
- Promote excellence in guest service by evaluating guest experiences and addressing concerns as they arise.
- Maintain an active on-hill presence, engaging with Pros and guests while observing guest experience and Pro performance at key times each day.
- Lead employee recognition efforts, performance management, and disciplinary actions
- Mentor and provide guidance to Pros, including Academy training, PSIA certification, Stage IV progression, and Trainer pathway mentorship
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and enhance product knowledge
- Support ski school operations by assisting sales and reservations, payroll, and other teams as needed
- Promote and uphold a strong culture of risk management through clear communication and adherence to safety protocols
- Act in the best interest of ASC in growth and protection of current ASC business, including sales and investigating underground teaching
- Conduct a thorough end-of-season analysis to assess individual and departmental strengths and opportunities, contributing to off-season evaluation and planning.

- High School Diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 seasons in the snow sports industry required
- Minimum current PSIA/AASI level 2 certification, or foreign equivalent, required
- Current trainer status preferred
- Proficiency in computer programs including point of sale systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Advanced understanding of ski/snowboard technique and teaching methodology
- Familiarity with ski & snowboard school operations, including scheduling, lesson assignments, and guest experience management
- Knowledge of safety protocols, risk management, and emergency response procedures
- Ability to oversee scheduling, reporting, and record keeping
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent guest service skills, with the ability to handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally
- Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, bend or be on your feet for extended periods of time
- Regularly work in wet, cold, hot conditions requiring the use of protective apparel/equipment to prevent exposure to the elements and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
- Must be able to frequently lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance
