At World Kinect, we’re seeking an experienced IT Solutions Architect II to lead the evolution of our application architecture and drive innovation across our technology landscape.This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape the future of our systems, mentor development teams, and collaborate with business leaders to deliver scalable, secure, and forward-thinking solutions.What You’ll Do
  • Architect the Future: Lead the design and evolution of enterprise applications architecture, with a focus on Java, Angular, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Oracle Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of Oracle technologies (EBS, Fusion, WebLogic, SOA, APEX) to integrate and optimize business-critical systems.
  • Strategic Leadership: Analyze business drivers and industry trends to define architecture requirements and governance frameworks aligned with organizational goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor to IT and business leaders, guiding the development of innovative, integrated solutions.
  • Mentorship & Coaching: Lead, mentor, and inspire development teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Governance & Standards: Establish and communicate architecture standards, ensuring alignment with business strategy and IT best practices.
  • Hands-On Design: Plan, design, and guide the development of software solutions using modern engineering practices and tools.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in software development and architecture, with a strong background in enterprise systems.
  • Proven expertise in Java, Angular, and CI/CD practices.
  • Deep understanding of Oracle applications and tech stack (EBS, Fusion, WebLogic, SOA, APEX).
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms and deployment strategies.
  • Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and experience leading or working within Agile teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, debugging, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a track record of driving strategic initiatives.
