Job Description:Nemours is seeking a Director, Advanced Delivery Program Operations and Surgery Outreach in Wilmington, DE.Primary Functions:This position leads the administrative, financial, research, operational and outreach activities for the Advanced Delivery Program (ADP). This position will have a strong focus on data analysis, quality assurance, and improvement initiatives. Metrics will be critical to successfully make outreach, patient throughput, scheduling, and operation more efficient. This position supports the VP, Business Operations as well as AVP, Department of - Surgery by providing leadership that achieves operational goals.Essential Functions:1. Works with the Medical Director of Advanced Delivery Unit (ADU), Assistant Vice President of Surgery, Senior Director of Nursing, ADU Nurse Manager and Perinatal/ADP Program Manager to provide administrative and operational oversight within assigned divisions.
2. In collaboration with the AVP Surgery, Senior Director Nursing and Obstetrics Division Chief is responsible for developing operating and capital budgets reflecting growth projections
(budgeted perinatal consults, deliveries, NICU admissions and neonatal surgical cases), manage expenses and identify appropriate staffing levels.
3. In collaboration with Surgery's AVP and Financial Performance Manager, monitors, identifies trends, and reports performance in charge capture/delays, chart closure/documentation, staffing ratios, revenue and expenses, clinical volumes, Patient Satisfaction, Quality & Service Metrics, etc. and develops and implements countermeasure when necessary.
4. Define ADP operational metrics and perform data analysis, develop / maintain databases, measure impact of process improvement initiatives, and draft reliable methods.5. Participates in continuous improvement efforts and ensures Daily Management systems effectively identifies gaps and escalates opportunities; Collaborate with DV management to improve coordination of systems and drive growth.
6. Promote clinical expertise and new treatments and surgical options within the local healthcare community to build Nemours brand reputation, recognition, and maintain relationships.
7. Nourishes direct reporting relationships with Perinatal/Advanced Delivery Program Manager and Obstetrics' Surgical Practice Coordinator. Responsible for teams annual evaluations, goal setting, mandatory training compliance and on-going professional development.
8. Ensure reporting including, but not limited to, the following is completed and presented
- Updates at Regional Strategy and Business Development meetings (DE and MD, PA, NJ)
- Summary reports for N2N and Unique Patients
- Summary analysis from Visit Summaries
- Prepare Internal and External Referral reports
- Prepare OR Case Review/Depot Volumes reports
- Audit reports including, but not limited to, the following:
o Castle Connolly Top Doc
o Doximity
o ORCiD
o Find A Doc
9. All other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:Masters degree required.
