Job Description:We are currently looking for an entry-level Water/Wastewater Engineer for our Civil Division at our Rochester, NY office. This individual will receive mentoring from Project Managers and Project Engineers in the context of the design and construction oversight of water supply/distribution/treatment and wastewater collection/conveyance/treatment projects.Duties
  • Contributing to all phases of water/wastewater projects including the development of design concepts
  • Performing detailed calculations, working within teams in a collaborative manner
  • Producing effective and high-quality drawings and specifications
  • Supporting projects throughout construction as they progress to final closeout.
Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 per yearThe specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering.
  • 0-4 years' experience.
  • EIT or the ability to obtain within 12 months.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Revit experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic/process modeling software is preferred.
  • Ideal candidates will have specific experience designing domestic water distribution, storage and treatment systems; sanitary collection and conveyance systems; pump stations and treatment systems; and related site work.
  • Ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a strong desire to grow a career in the water/wastewater engineering field.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with Team members across the organization.
