Job Category: Mechanical EngineeringJob Description:We are seeking a Product Customization Engineer to join our team and play a key role in delivering tailored engineering solutions to meet customer needs. In this position, you will be responsible for implementing product design modifications, reviewing application requirements, and supporting custom order fulfillment across various business units. You will work closely with multi-functional teams to ensure designs meet both customer specifications and internal standards. This role also provides the opportunity to drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the enhancement of engineering processes and customer satisfaction If you're a problem-solver with strong technical skills and a collaborative mentality, we encourage you to apply and help us deliver exceptional customized product solutions.AS A PRODUCT CUSTOMIZATION ENGINEER, YOU WILL:
  • Handle daily execution of orders involving product design modifications, application reviews, and customer interaction for all business units; following established engineering requirements and guidelines.
  • Support quotation and design of modifications to the assigned products for the fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Perform and document design calculations and analysis
  • Create and manipulate 3D CAD models, assemblies, and drawings.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to drive continuous improvement.
  • Assist Sales Engineers with selection of appropriate products for different applications.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including sales, order engineering, and drafting.
  • Work closely with Strategic Product Business Units engineering teams.
  • Provide problem resolution for to include technical applications, product function, and constructions.
Required Experience & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree with technical focus (ie: Industrial/Mechanical engineering)
  • Experience in product engineering / development or engineering projects
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and demonstrated experience in their application
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and organizational skills
  • Capable of working on multiple tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Ability to promote a fast paced, positive, customer focused work environment
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Experience & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years' experience with Flow Controls in engineering related roles
