- As a Manager - Digital Product Management, one would translate needs of business owners/stakeholders and deliver on the Digital Platform Product roadmap
- Assume responsibilities as Product Owner / Product Manager for a Business Rules Management System (BRMS) Platform
- Envision and design of the next generation of Platform Product that would encompass business logic management for global consumer and commercial credit risk capabilities spanning limit management, customer management, authorizations and hardship and collections.
- Partner with Manager / Director to transform Risk Systems, play a central role in detailing the blueprint, and work in close partnership with stakeholders in Credit and Fraud Risk, as well as external experts to arrive at the best design/solution and oversee its execution.
- Collaborate with Platform Technology Teams, cross-functional Partners across Credit and Fraud Risk Management, capture requirements and benefits and drive a common future vision
- Determine the requirement readiness for development, initial level of E2E solution design, and rationalization and prioritization
- Drive enhancement of end-to-end user facing processes that support core Platform management decisions and create innovative solutions that are cost-efficient and scalable across Enterprise
- Work in close partnership with Risk Capabilities and AET to deploy next generation risk capabilities, designed for long-term adaptability
- Own Platform Feature Management including, but not limited to, feature / user story creation, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospectives.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Global Banking, and the AXP Privacy Office to deliver defect-free capabilities with the flexibility to meet evolving customer needs while satisfying all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Experience and deep interest building robust, scalable, user-friendly Enterprise software systems
- Ability to build strong relationships, operate effectively within large cross-functional teams, and influence business partners to drive transformational change
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to think outside the box and design industry leading solutions
- Undergraduate degree and 1 year of relevant experience. Advanced degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, econometrics, or another related field of study is preferr
- Experience working with SQL, Hive, Big Query preferred.
- Knowledge of Credit Risk management function and Amex data and risk technology platforms preferred
