Position OverviewThis role is responsible for planning, overseeing, and tracking asset management programs and related projects. The position involves monitoring performance and ensuring effective execution over time. The ideal candidate will be capable of developing and implementing initiatives that enhance safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness across the assigned asset class.Candidate must be located in PENNSYLVANIA or OHIO. This is a hybrid position. Employees will be required to work in-office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Starting in September, the in-office schedule will change to Tuesday through Thursday.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine clear baselines for scope, timeline, and budget, and implement change control to track progress and flag issues earlyProvide ongoing project status updates and communicationsEvaluate program costs and recommend cost-saving strategiesLead and manage long-term asset management initiatives across capital and operational budgetsCreate and deliver presentations to various levels of company leadershipQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering requiredAt least 5 years of experience in project management and/or engineering within a gas utility settingBackground in project controls, program management, and portfolio oversightStrong analytical capabilities with knowledge of data collection methodologiesExperience in interpreting data trends and conducting risk analysis for asset managementFamiliarity with project design processes, including scoping, risk evaluation, and cost-effectivenessKnowledge of gas utility operations and field proceduresProven problem-solving skills and resourcefulnessAbility to build effective relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholdersForward-thinking with the ability to anticipate issues and recommend solutionsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to proactively identify and plan for risks and contingenciesTrack and support continual improvement based on asset class KPIsProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPointPreferred QualificationsProficiency in Power BIProject Management Professional (PMP) certificationUnderstanding of gas system design and operations, including flow, construction, emergency response, and contractsFamiliarity with state, local, and federal utility regulations or pipeline safety requirementsExperience working in DIMP, TIMP, or asset management within petrochemical or similar industriesAdvanced degree in a related fieldWorking ConditionsPrimarily an office-based role with occasional travel to field locations as needed.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
