
Senior Strategic Planning Engineer for Aerospace and Defense Applications

- • Create market analysis material that considers customer needs and the competitive environment. • Develop product concepts across the entire portfolio in close collaboration with the R&D teams & product managers. • Establish strategic customer relations for proofing the customer acceptance in the A&D market with a focus on the US. • Strategize and execute market introductions in close collaboration with the product management team. • Capture management of prioritized customer use cases and system level measurement requirements. • Presenting and demonstrating technical measurement solutions to train our internal applications engineers and customers. • The ability to lead a cross-functional division, marketing and field teams to optimize business growth worldwide with new product introductions serving the aerospace defense markets. • Lead the customer support activities of prerelease alpha and beta instrumentation at the customer site. • Lead the technical and capture management for large US government instrumentation contracts.

- • Bachelors or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent • US Person • A minimum of 5 years in RF/Microwave hardware or software design and development experience. • 10 + years of experience working with RF/Microwave test equipment performing measurement and characterization of RF/MW components, sub-systems and systems. • 5 + years of experience in in the theory of operation and testing of Radar/EW or Satellite systems is a plus. • Proven RF measurement science knowledge such as phase noise, noise figure, spurious, vector signal analysis, vector signal generation, pulsed signal analysis, s-parameters, TOI, AM-AM, AM-PM, and group delay. • Proven ability interfacing with multiple teams with multiple priorities. • The ability to manage multiple projects at the same time. • Flexibility and willingness to travel to Munich Germany to work with engineering and product management teams located around the world. Ability to travel regularly ~ 30% of the time to both European and U.S. locations. • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers in a multinational environment. • Experienced in customer facing and sales situations to present alternate solutions and carefully manage customer expectations. • In order to be considered, candidates must be US citizens.
