We are proud to offer rewarding employment, resident-centered care, a collaborative team environment, and professional development opportunities with a dependable and respected healthcare company.Salary: Competitive and based on experience.Position Purpose: The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for leading nursing quality assurance initiatives across Carefree Living communities to ensure excellence and compliance in the delivery of care. This role plays a key part in optimizing Medicaid revenue, reviewing and strengthening care delivery systems, designing and implementing policies and procedures, and providing education, consultation, and auditing for compliance with county, state, and federal healthcare regulations.Key Responsibilities:· Interpret and apply healthcare and nursing compliance regulations to ensure quality assurance across Carefree Living communities.· Develop, refine, and implement systems, policies, and procedures that support compliance and best practices in resident care.· Provide training and education to nursing and caregiving staff; ensure understanding through testing and follow-up.· Conduct periodic audits of nursing services and deliver recommendations for improvements to executive leadership.· Oversee Medicaid processes and optimize reimbursement.· Support clinical teams with challenging admissions or retention decisions.· Act as liaison between nursing and other functional areas, including IT, finance, and leadership.· Coordinate company-wide clinical initiatives, including immunization programs.· Lead and participate in the hiring and development of licensed nursing personnel.· Develop and maintain a Quality Assurance Calendar of Events to ensure timely compliance and proactive planning.· Represent Carefree Living externally with regulatory bodies, agencies, and professional organizations.· Participate in strategic planning and company-wide leadership meetings.Qualifications:· Current RN license in Minnesota required.· Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Public Health Nurse certification preferred.· Minimum 10 years of nursing experience (assisted living or home health preferred).· Previous supervisory, management, and training experience strongly preferred.· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic clinical charting systems.· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.· Knowledge on Medicaid reimbursement in MN.· Ability to travel to Carefree Living communities throughout Minnesota as needed, based out of Southern MN.Benefits:· Flexible scheduling· Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance· Company-paid Life and AD&D insurance· Free meals at Carefree Living communities· 401(k) with employer match· Paid Time Off (PTO) & HolidaysAbout Us: At Carefree Living we strive to set the standard for resident centered care in Minnesota by continuously improving our operations and elevating every aspect of the resident experience through genuine compassion, clinical excellence, and unwavering commitment to quality and community.
