Will also provide lien release documents to customers as requested. Additional responsibilities will include the issuing of payer numbers in SAP ERP system, managing the overall lien process for the region, timely filing of all important documents with vendor, and handling customer inquiries. Must maintain good relations with vendor and CEMEX external and internal customers. Position is an integral part of helping CEMEX achieves its working capital goals.Job Responsibilities
  • Partnering with vendor to send preliminary notices to required stakeholders listed under state law (property owners, general contractors, lenders, etc.) to ensure CEMEX's lien or bond rights are in place to mitigate risk
  • Conducting property searches through applicable internet websites such as Property Appraiser, County Official Records, etc.
  • Managing deadlines for preliminary notices listed under state law
  • Maintaining and updating preliminary notice data in SAP ERP system
  • Explaining preliminary notices sent to property owners and contractors
  • Managing and filing upcoming lien documents using vendor's website
  • Preparing and providing lien release documents for customers
  • Processing payer numbers from daily orders shipped
  • Timely documenting and logging of all activities providing full transparency to other stakeholders in the lien rights process
  • Jointly working with internal and external customers with any problems or questions

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned
Qualifications
  • 2 years of directly related construction work experience preferred
  • Construction lien law knowledge
