
Machine Operation Specialist - Autocell /2nd shift

- Takes ownership over all aspects of automated processes and procedures including safety, quality, and efficiencies.
- Applies extensive knowledge to adhere to GMP compliance on the manufacturing floor.
- Operates automated equipment along with associated work cells, including start up and shut down.
- Assists maintenance technicians with Category II Preventative Maintenance.
- Works with and assists engineers, leadership, and technicians in problem solving of quality and safety, production process, and raw material issues.
- Provides and receive constructive feedback without shutting down communication among team members.
- Ensures efficiency of material loading and unloading for automated processes.
- Conducts thorough practices with inspecting, packaging, and labeling of product.
- Assists with process verifications and initiates work orders for automated processes.
- Contributes to resolution and sorting of PDF products and processes.
- Assists engineers in prototyping, specialty builds, testing, validations, and implementing new materials, designs and process improvements; must record data as necessary.
- Requires the ability to work overtime to meet business needs.
- Interfaces frequently with computer and understands navigational functions with HMI's (Human Machine Interface).
- May assist with covering areas in material handling.
- May be required to assist leadership with floor coverage and coordination.
- Experience in Process Control (PC) testing and molding/welding quality requirements is preferred.
- Working knowledge with HMI interactions is preferred.
- Process knowledge of the Auto Cell and RF work centers is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge and maintained competency in all areas required at the assembler level.
- Knowledge and understanding of safety protocols required for operating automated and semi-automated equipment.
- Advanced understanding of manufacturing operating procedures that apply to technical, automated, and semi-automated operating systems.
- Require extensive knowledge and understanding of process control activities and functions.
- Strong team cooperation and ability to prioritize workload to meet schedule requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
- Must be able to work in a clean room environment, adhere to associated policies, and perform gowning of clean room attire in the allotted time prior to start up.
- Requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds and transport up to 500 pounds via carts or mechanized equipment.
- Requires good manual dexterity and visual acuity including ability to distinguish colors.
- Must be able to maintain pace with the area assigned.
- Requires the ability to regularly perform repetitive motions.
- Must be able to work under florescent lighting.
- Requires the ability to bond using repetitive moderate force gripping.
- Requires the ability to sit or stand through the duration of a shift.
