- Manage warranty claims and issues submitted by Gardner Denver distributors and customers to provide timely and fair resolutions.
- Assess distributors’ warranty claims and initiate investigative action as necessary to resolve problems and / or liability claims.
- Complete warranty documents to ensure accurate recording of warranty data to facilitate further analysis of trends.
- Facilitate movement of materials to support GD Field Service Technicians in repair of Gardner Denver equipment.
- Coordinates with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and Purchasing to identify and resolve product malfunctions.
- Resolves disputes with customers and distributors concerning disposition of warranty claims to promote sound and reasonable customer relations
- Bachelor’s Degree is desirable, preferably in a technical field
- 3+ years of technical customer service experience in aftermarket support
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), problem solving, and customer relation skills
- Able to interact and coordinate with internal company resources and vendor resources to resolve issues for customers and distributors
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Must be detail-oriented and well organized
- Ability to read & understand technical drawings and wiring diagrams preferred
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred
- This position will be based in Quincy, IL, Bentleyville, PA, or Connersville, IN with minimal anticipated travel.
- The pay range for this role is $50,000-$70,000. The pay range considers a wide range of factors that include a candidate’s skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location.
