
Maintenance Technician

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general facility upkeep to ensure a safe and operational environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic IT issues related to hardware, software, printers, network connectivity, and user support
- Install, configure, and maintain office technology equipment such as computers, monitors, phones, and security systems
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs, IT upgrades, or system installations when necessary
- Maintain an accurate log of IT equipment inventory and assist in lifecycle management including setups, replacements, and decommissions
- Respond to maintenance and IT service requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact
- Collaborate with departments to ensure facility and technology needs are met and assist in planning improvements or upgrades as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in a related field (e.g., IT support, facilities maintenance, or electrical systems) preferred
- 2+ years of experience in building maintenance, IT support, or a similar hybrid technical role
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting hardware/software issues and maintaining facility systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
- Knowledge of electrical systems as it relates to maintenance.
- Skilled in mechanical maintenance.
- Ability to recognize and use simple hand-held, manual and power tools needed for performance of general maintenance duties.
