  • Perform technical product support via telephone, email and on occasion, via field support
  • Perform hardware and software system testing and configuration
  • Develop, review and interpret technical documentation, including network diagrams
  • Perform onsite and offsite technical Training on GDMS products
  • Present and facilitate technical information concisely and clearly
  • Provide product training in such a way to stimulate and motivate students
  • Develop and proof read training materials
  • Function independently in a multi-tasking environment and as a teammate
  • Communicate with all levels of management, employees, and customers
  • Participate in rotating, after hours, on-call telephone support
  • Travel 25% after instructor qualification
What you bring to the table:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field (preferably Computer Science, MIS, CIS, IFSM), or equivalent experience
  • Support and assist in the design and planning of network systems
  • Ability to handle more complex assignments and grasp and apply new information quickly
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical data and network diagrams
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively in interpersonal situations and before large groups of people/students

  • Experience in administrating, maintaining, troubleshooting, network systems which includes firewalls, DNS, VPN, LAN, WLAN Cisco/Juniper products, firewalls, and Windows servers.
  • Experience with word processing, spreadsheet, database, graphic presentation, and intermediate knowledge and/or experience using Microsoft Office applications; i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, Visio, and Outlook, and Dynamics 365
  • CCNA Certification
  • Security + Certification
  • Active Secret clearance is preferred
